Instacart Referral Code (2026): What We Could Verify in Canada
Many sites list Instacart referral codes, but we found no official program. Here is what is real, how to check, and what to avoid.
Short answer: we could not confirm an official Instacart referral code program in Canada. Many sites list "Instacart referral codes", but we found no official Instacart page that supports them. Check inside the app for any invite or new-customer offer, and be careful with sites that ask you to pay or share personal details for a code.
Is there an Instacart referral code?
Searching for "Instacart referral code" returns many coupon pages with confident promises of credit for new users. None of the ones we found pointed to an official Instacart help page describing a referral program or its terms. Offers for new customers do appear from time to time, but they change, may be limited by area, and may be tied to partners rather than to personal codes.
How to check for offers
- Open the Instacart app or its website and look in the account or promotions area for any invite, referral or new-customer offer.
- Read the terms at the checkout: minimum order, expiry and who qualifies.
- Look at your partner offers, such as a credit card or store loyalty program.
Be careful with promo-code sites
- A site that asks you to pay for a code or enter your Instacart login is not safe.
- Codes shared on forums can be expired, personal, or not valid in your area.
- If a code does not show a discount at checkout, it is not applied.
