Visit SuchChat →3. Crypto trading bots on Telegram
- Many of these bots create a hot wallet for you inside Telegram. If the bot, your Telegram account or your phone is compromised, the funds can be lost. Use a separate wallet with money you can afford to lose.
- Never import the private key or recovery phrase of your main wallet into a bot.
- Fake bots and phishing clones copy popular names. Check the exact handle and open the bot from the project's official website or channel.
- A real support person will not message you first and ask for your key.
- If you live in Canada, check your provincial securities regulator before trading. In Quebec, that is the AMF.
The links below are referral links where marked. They do not change your risk.

Limit: Data does not remove risk. New tokens can be rugged or manipulated.

Open TON Wallet →How to choose a Telegram bot safely
- Use the exact handle. Search for the handle, not the display name, and compare it letter by letter with the one on the official website.
- Never share secrets. No bot needs your password, seed phrase or private key to set a reminder or translate a message.
- Prefer bots linked from an official site. A bot that a company links from its own website is much less likely to be a clone.
- Check who runs it. If you cannot tell who is behind a bot, treat it as untrusted and share nothing sensitive.
- Be careful with downloader bots. Bots that download copyrighted music or video can break copyright rules and often carry malware or ads.
- Review group permissions. Give a bot admin rights in a group only if it needs them.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find bots on Telegram?
Open Telegram, tap the search bar and type the bot's handle, for example @BotFather. Bot handles end in "bot" by convention, but not every one shows the word in the display name, so always use the exact handle. Open the chat, tap Start, then follow the bot's menu or send /help.
Are Telegram bots safe?
Most mainstream bots are safe for low-risk jobs like reminders or translation, but a bot is just software run by someone else. Anything you send it goes to its owner, so skip passwords, seed phrases and private documents. In groups, bots only see commands and mentions by default unless an admin changes their privacy mode. Copycat bots exist, so check the handle letter by letter.
Are Telegram trading bots legal in Canada?
There is no single yes or no answer. Canadian securities regulators oversee crypto trading platforms at the provincial level; in Quebec that is the AMF, which publishes warnings about unregistered crypto activity. A bot that trades for you is a trading product, so check your provincial regulator before using one. This page is not legal or financial advice.
How do I make my own Telegram bot?
Open @BotFather in Telegram, send /newbot, choose a name and a handle ending in "bot", and it returns an API token. You can connect that token to a no-code builder like those in section 2, or to your own code. Keep the token private: anyone who has it can control the bot.
Are Telegram bots free?
Many are free, and several use a freemium model where basic use is free and advanced features or heavy use are paid. Crypto trading bots charge a fee on each trade. Check pricing in the bot or on its website before you connect a payment method.
Which Telegram bot is best for productivity?
There is no single best one. Skeddy Bot suits reminders, Pomodoro Bot suits focus sessions, SaveDay AI Bot suits saving and summarizing links, and Feed Reader Bot suits following sites and feeds. Start with one job you actually have.
