Kling AI Free Trial (2026): Free Daily Credits and What You Actually Get
Kling AI does not advertise a classic free trial, but it does give free daily credits. Here is how they work, what the free output is limited by, and your other free options.
Short answer: Kling AI does not advertise a classic time-limited free trial on the pages we could read. It offers free daily credits for logging in, with watermarked output, and paid memberships remove the watermark. The number of daily credits is not published, so check the app.
What you get for free
Kling's own pages say you can start generating videos for free with daily credits. Free generations include a watermark, and memberships remove it. Kling does not state the amount of daily free credits on the pages we read, and its credit policy says login credit amounts are subject to platform announcement, so the number can change.
How Kling credits work
Kling's credit policy lists these credit types and how long they last:
| Credit type | How it works |
|---|---|
| Login credits | Issued on your first daily login and reset at 24:00. Amounts are "subject to platform announcement". |
| Purchased credits | Valid for 2 years from distribution. $1 buys 66 credits at standard pricing. |
| Regular membership credits | Distributed monthly and valid for 1 month. |
| 7-day membership credits | Granted on activation and valid for 7 days. |
| Promotional credits | Depends on the event notice in the app. |
What paid memberships change
- No watermark: memberships remove the watermark on generated videos.
- Resolution: Kling says Pro users can unlock native 4K.
- Length: videos can run up to 15 seconds of continuous generation.
Membership plan names and prices were not available on the pages we could read, so check Kling's membership page for current pricing.
Free options at other AI video tools
If Kling's free credits run out, other AI video tools have their own free access. As we last saw it, Runway gives 125 one-time credits, Luma has a free tier with daily draft credits, and Hailuo gives 200 one-time credits. Allowances change often, so check each site. See also our free AI tools list.
Referral credits
Existing subscribers can share a code that gives extra credits to new subscribers. How that works, and why you should watch for fake codes, is in our Kling AI referral code guide.
